We will only keep your NPI for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us to keep NPI beyond the period of time during which users have an account with us.
When we no longer have a legitimate business need to store or process NPI, we will either delete or anonymize such NPI, or, if this is not possible (for example, because NPI has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store NPI and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
6. HOW DO WE KEEP NPI SAFE?
In Short: We aim to protect NPI through a system of organizational and technical security measures.
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any NPI we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure NPI, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, therefore we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security, and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify NPI. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.
